Hello @Shanling I recently bought my UP4 2022 and I am struggling with the Digital Filter selection. I.e. I am unable to apply the Minimum phase (both fast and slow). I can only switch between the 2 Linear Phase filter. I tried while using my iPhone in bluetooth and my Mac both wired USB C and on Bluetooth. Searched on the user guide and internet and could not find how I can enable those 2 filters. Any advice please?

Seems there was an older post where Shanling has declared only 2 filters are available in V 2022, So the User Guide must be updated as it states 4 filters.

So far I am struggling with BT connectivity not being too stable, the lack of an iOS app (at least in my country/region), and poor EQ functionalities.

Correct, UP4 22 has only two filters available.

Please what region are you in? Our Eddict Player app should be available in all regions.

I hope no one buys this device anymore. I just had a problem with it. The sound comes out cut off, does not update firmware. The manufacturer pushes the problem to the seller instead of solving the manufacturing problem. To send back I have to pay a higher amount than the pair itself. Money thrown away, I hope no one buys anything else from this brand.

Have you noticed some differences against the low gain mode apart the volume? I use low impedance headphones so high gain and dual dac only give more volume but it's not necessary

I know it’s marketed as turbo or boost or whatever… but it’s a single dac versus dual dac… if you listen carefully you will hear twice the resolution as you now have one dac operating per channel. Yes, high gain is just more power out of a single dac, but dual dac is a completely different operating mode. I wouldn’t even bother with low or high gain… single-ended dual dac is the only mode I use on my Shanling H5 also, far superior performance/sound quality versus balanced in my opinion and to my ear. My headphones DUNU Falcon Ultra 16ohm, Shanling SONO 16ohm MG100 32ohm, Meze 99 Neo 19ohm Classics 17ohm… all dead silent, no background noise.

My only requests would be the ability to view battery level via led flashes or battery level lights on the unit itself and the ability to turn off the charge function via the Eddict app so I can use the usb out on my iPad. It sounds so good via Bluetooth I don’t even care that I cannot listen to it with a usb cable. That to me is insane as I have never been happy with a wireless source before the UP4 2022 in dual dac mode. Much better than the Qudelix 5K. Way to go Shanling

I can use the up4 22 via usb with my smartphone android by using a usb otg cable but as you said the charge can't be off

Shanling UP4 2024 coming soon? Now with longer Bluetooth range and a 4.4mm balanced output instead of the dreaded 2.5mm… any chance of that happening?

Shanling support ignored all my emails. No documentation or listing of LHDC specification. Made an account here to talk to Shanling support, but when I got the message saying my account had to be approved, that was the last straw. Not the forum's fault, but Shanling's fault for only responding on here.

Wasted hours trying to connect the LHDC ONE to this. Performed my own investigation, as far as I can tell this is LHDC-V2(only FIIO would respond, and presumably these are similar chipsets). I don't even have anything to gain at this point other than leaving a negative review. 2 thumbs down for Shanling. Already returned this to Amazon.

HI, I'm sorry, I don't see any message about UP4 22 and LHDC on our email. If you wish, you can send us message over PM with your email and will check on it.

For UP4 22, it has only support for the old LHDC V1, it was never upgraded to the newer formats.
