Tonight's Jazz recommendation: Steps 'Step by Step'. They later became known as the band Steps Ahead.

(+1 for Steps Ahead, as well.)

This album is just a bunch of little known session players that decided to get together and make some music of their own. You may have heard of a few... 😉

Eddie Gomez
Mike Mainieri
Michael Brecker
Steve Gadd
Don Grolnick

For a tube device what needs more break-in, the tube or the device?

Any LISST-like devices for the Vali3? I would love a glowing LISST with mini-VU meters to go with the Vali3!
With out board VU meters you can use them for anything within a specific volume level.IMG_5999.jpegIMG_6005.jpeg. I built this simple device with multiple inputs and a couple outputs for just that purpose. Solid cherry cabinet. I must have made ten of these things with various capabilities. I can monitor most any level within my main system.

Mine is a ResMed AirCurve 10. I think it is constantly pumping air into me as per the overnight testing I pretty much do not breathe, sometimes for well over 3 minutes and never reach REM. That would explain a lot about me...:beerchug:

ORT
I have a ResMed 10. I have never used anything else but I can testify that it works well for helping me sleep, and my wife will tell you that it stops snoring. I found an amazing side benefit of a CPA machine - I can take power naps. I have napped for as little as 20 minutes, and at any time of the day. When that machine goes on my brain and body go straight to sleep. I set a 20 minute timer (or whatever interval), don the mask, and sleep like a baby until the timer goes off.

Now I can't get this out of my head...

"So hoist up the John B's sail
See how the main sail sets
Call for the captain ashore
Let me go home
Let me go home
I wanna go home, yeah, yeah
Well, I feel so broke up
I wanna go home."
Or… “80 feet on the waterline, nice to be making way…”

Hmmmm.
Well certainly could be a variety of sizes but i think something up to 12"x 6" x maybe 1" would be nice in the lap or on a table. Or smaller , too.
Or flight board sized with a rectangle or square cut-out.

I would be inclined to leave it up to whatever is convenient and up to your standards.

or even a bowl... hmmm. go crazy bro lol. this was strangely hard for me to answer.
Yeah I was just wondering about the cutout, not the overall size of the board🤪 this one is extra, perhaps a rolling cutout on one side and space for a nice bottle of bourbon on the other? IMG_7291.jpeg

Just don’t thank me with anything smokeable, Indiana still has some fierce laws on the books.🤪

I need to bite the bullet and try this.

yes, perfection!

so to actually answer your question, just needs to be maybe ~3.5-4". a pack of papers is 3" so a bit longer than that so you can use them to scoop out the, err, tobacco.
Doesnt have to be very deep.

You forgot "Love their beautiful spouses." Which can include the inflatable kind, in some cases.
Vinyl. Love their beautiful spouses, which can include the vinyl kind, in some cases.

I got ya, i'll come up with somethin' safe. Our laws are still quite draconian as well but do have the medical card exemption.

I'm surprised that either of Trump or Biden hasn't just ended prohibition already. I bet it happens soon.

It has cutouts for glasses, maybe keep the flat surface for rolling and a bottle? If so PM me your address and I will ship Monday. I feel like I am in a Cheech and Chong movie.😁

You are too kind, Man.
This is definitely the best ever Head-fi thread as well.

Cousin delivered this to the Lamp and Lantern Bar.

Barrel Select Label affixed.

A wee nip and some tunes seems appropriate.
Note the wonderful headphone stand.
Just gorgeous. Headphone stand is nice, too (I kid!)
