Hi, i bought this device and connected it to my hi-fi system (RCA out to RCA in) and I use my Samsung S8 with various players (musicolet or USB Player pro with bluetooth connection)...but the sound is extremely weak despite the high volumes....
Any ideas ?
Thank you for your support!
and yes, we have found this as well:L3000:

But now we have fixed it. You can fix this issue by upgrading the firmware and app of BR13

Hello Fiio!
I'm planning to buy a gadget – BR13. However, I see messages on the Internet that the device does not connect to the application - a constant reset occurs. The consequence of this is the inability to control from the phone and update the firmware, which can fix this bug.
My questions:
Do you confirm this problem exists?
If yes, what is the algorithm for solving it?

Hi, because some users didn't download the latest FiiO Control APP for their Android version,
which caused the APP to flash back in the phone.
The problem is solved after installing the new app.

I just received my BR13 and i'm having some problems with the app.

In Android app I can't use equalizer at all, always give me an error message.

On iPhone its possible, but if I change from MEM1 to an preset and return to MEM1, it messes all up.. The EQ configurations change all the toggles by itself.

My primary use for the BR13 will be to connect an Google Hub to it and then send the audio to my amp.
And another problem I have with this setup is that even if I configure the toggles on MEM1 using the iPhone and disconnect it, when I connect Google Hub the EQ in MEM1 returns to stock... It won't save the EQ configurations in the device memory.

Is this EQ memory saved only in the app? Isn't possible to save the EQ toggles settings on the BR13?

Hello.
Please update the Android version of FIIO CONTROL APP to version 3.15 so that you can use PEQ function normally.

About the PEQ function you said can not be saved, mainly because of a Qualcomm system bug, we will solve it later, we recommend that you play songs in the process of PEQ adjustment, so that he can be saved to the machine!

The PEQ has fully adjustable Frequency/Q/gain values or is it only selected bands? @FiiO

Phone Bluetooth > BR13 > PEQ > Optical Out - is this possible?

Phone Bluetooth > BR13 > PEQ > Optical Out - is this possible?
We have selected ten frequency points at which you can make adjustments :beerchug:

Yes, this pathway【
Bluetooth > BR13 > PEQ > Optical Out
】 is PEQ-able

Have upgraded firmware and tested my BR13 via Windows/USB and BT/LDAC modes.
Must say I'm happy with the audio quality, it's a surprisingly good device for the money.

Later I came across a problem when tried to use BR13 in USB mode with my Moode RPi streamer.
The device was not detected as USB audio so I can't use it for audio output, pls see the screenshot below.
Tried different USB ports, restarted BR13 when set to USB input, nothing helped.
Use the included USB-A to USB-C cable which works with Windows. No other devices connected to RPi.

I would very appreciate if something could be done to fix this via firmware update...
Thanks in advance

Hi
I'm not sure if this is related to our equipment.

The BR13 supports the USB 1.0 protocol, and as long as the device supports the USB 1.0 protocol, then it's all plug and play.
Also we have found that some devices like SWITCH only support 48K 16Bit, we will be releasing a software update recently that will be compatible with this sample rate output as well.

I will feedback to our engineers to see if there is a solution to the problem you mentioned!

Thank you, I'm afraid it could be related.
Today I have tested again with another Linux device - CoreElec box player with the same result - DB13 not detected as audio device, see screenshot below.
My other DAC models (Yulong DA8 and Topping E30) are detected when connected via USB so I'm more inclined to believe there's something wrong with BR13 firmware v1.0.2 Linux compatibility.
P.S. I haven't used the app for anything else than firmware upgrade so have no special settings.

We have updated the firmware version 1.0.3, please upgrade to see if there is any improvement?

As long as your phone's APP is up-to-date and your phone is connected to the BR13, it will automatically prompt for the upgrade :beerchug:
