I managed to get it to work, I had to use a Windows PC (Virtual Machine), as I could not get it to work on my Mac.

There is still no gapless playback for DSD files, as this has been introduced on other M Series players, could you confirm if this will be included in a future firmware upgrade for the M3 Pro please?

I am using / want to use the M3 Pro with the USB out to my amp to make use of the DSD USB out function, but with the gaps it sounds terrible especially where tracks run into each other.

Even after upgrading to the latest firmware, the player lacks basic features. The player does not allow you to play all the songs of one artist from all albums and as a result is completely inconvenient for people with a large collection of music.

I recently bought a M3Pro player and I had a few nasty questions.
All these questions show that I just threw money at the wind and the M3Pro - a serious step back from the previous old X1
1. How to play all the songs of one artist?
A simple example. All albums from AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and The Beatles are uploaded to a large memory card. And today I just want to listen to Black Sabbath. How to do it? These are 22 folders with various Black Sabbath albums in my collection.
Do you suggest manually copying the contents of each folder to one to listen to only this artist? Seriously?
In Fiio X1 I just need to select the artist, scroll to the bottom of the album list and select "play all".
In M3Pro v1.1.0 this option is missing. And this option must be on the top of album list.

2. How to play all the songs of one artist from 22 different folders in shuffle mode?
Should I write that the old X1 player and even 15 years old iRiver does this very easily?

And one more thing. In addition to X1 and M3Pro, I also have a cheap player from aliexpress.
And this player has one very cool feature, which is very lacking in Fiio. It has two separate options for Shuffle and Repeat modes like Winamp, Foobar, Aimp. So if I set one option to "Shuffle" and second repeat option to "Play once", and start listening to a separate album, the player plays the songs in random order but only once. and when the list ends it just stops.
Both my Fiio players can't do that. The only way to listen to a new album without repetition is to listen in a strict order. Is it possible to make the player memorize songs he has already played and skip them if they were played not so long ago?

Yes, I can create m3u playlists every time, but why should I do it in 2020?

After update to firmware 1.1.1 player begun play music when it's outing of dac mode because of shutdown notebook. Herewith when dac mode switching on player not playing. Please fix it, it's not uncomfortable.
