Audio paranoia: dropped one (BA) IEM and feel like there's a barely perceptible drop in volume on that side, just can't confirm it. Not the first time it's happened. Anyone else experienced this? Can't enjoy listening with that niggling doubt

Man, that sucks. You could test it by switching ears and seeing if you hear the same drop in volume in the opposite ear. Or you can take a day or two off from that particular IEM and then give it a listen again. That way you can get a fresh take on it. Good luck.
Drops can cause issues. Maybe a driver came loose and isn't positioned correctly anymore or the tuning tubes moved. I would send it into the manufacturer. You could always use audio balance in your music app the adjust the volume going to each IEM.Audio paranoia: dropped one (BA) IEM and feel like there's a barely perceptible drop in volume on that side, just can't confirm it.
