Good eye! There are indeed 4 black buttons on Budgie's amp. If he'll permit me, I will vollunteer that they are whiffle buttons, which are invaluable for making extremely fine adjustments in the sound. As the unsuspecting listener focuses on the sound, you push one of the buttons as you ask, "Is that any better?" You keep that up until they answer in the affirmative.
