I never thought this amp drove my LCD2 hard at all. If anything I was a little disappointed but I also like to push the gain up, I love it loud. This amp didn't do it for me in that regard. It is a solid amp, and it's built like a tank, it has a very neutral sound signature. Not much to not like but it never pushed my planars hard IMO. I will add that I do regret selling mine. It's a fantastic amp for sure.
