I stopped checking this post and just focus on others things and enjoyed my current headphone, to be less frustrated.

You can’t change the reality that Ryan is over flooded from his November orders, and it takes enormous amount of work to make a boutique custom made product to sounds good on every unit.

I know boutique house like John Massaria/JM anudio also put in massive effort into his XTC cans to make sure each unit sounds nice.

Our headphone will arrive and I would rather Ryan spent good enough time on my unit than rushing through them.

I agree he can be more prompt with customer service ( I sent him two emails about shipping to uk and he never got back to me)

Anyone try pad swapping the Tungsten with other Zmf pads? I’ve put Zmf universe lamb skin perf pads on and am enjoying them.

They've been out for a while now - so do the Mod House Tungsten slam as hard and are they as physical in the bass as the OG Hifiman HE6?

Preferably, from someone who's managed to A/B both of them...? (Might be a bit of an ask given the rarity of the OG HE6)

And would that refer to the SS or the DS version of the Tungsten?

I always though DS planars had more slam because they have more magnetic flux to play with?

I love the white chassis. I think, my favourite so far is still the red grill/white chassis combo, but this is a close second.

I'm very surprised to see them, to be honest. Based on the order numbers I assumed I'd be around another month from now before seeing them. Funnily enough I think I talked to the guy with the left pair on Reddit awhile ago since we were sharing what paint codes we used.

Well you and I talked on here about our colors. The one on the left could be mine as I have blue and white.
