My new iem crush, The Shanling ME600 have landed first impressions very positive hit all my preferences spot on. Build quality and presentation is very nice and they are beautiful and a very comfortable fit. DUEL DYNAMIC DRIVERS + TRIPLE BA

Gorgeous set with huge accessory package for not a lot of money. Not bad. I'll keep an eye/ear out.

Tip-rolling discoveries are so underrated! Let this message reach whoever needs to hear it.

I tip-rolled my AüR Aure again after experiencing a bit of discomfort with the stiff (duh.., obviously, they have a metal insert) Coreirs.

Since I don't feel like spending a whole day on tiprolling through all the tips I've got, I chose the two pairs I know I felt very comfortable with using before.

Spinfit W1s ultimately won (pictured on the IEMs), followed closely by the Tri Clarions. W1s have a much thinner bore compared to Clarions, however they felt as if they cleaned the bass a bit nicer as well as kept more brightness for Aure's main attraction - The Vocals - to shine.

Clarions provide a better sense of openness to the mix and allow more space for individual imagery, though, so essentially I could use both depending on the scenario.

With all the new midfi daps being released recently I obviously decided to buy the Sony Zx707 uncapped Japanese version which can be had for comparable price to the cayin N3Ultra and Shanling M5Ultra.
I'm a huge fan of the Sony house sound and Sony haven't let me down this time the Zx707 is very close to the sound of the NW-M1A with just a touch more clarity in the treble. It's the perfect form factor for sliding in your pocket and I've managed to squeeze 18hours of balanced listening out of a single charge. It can power most iems with the exception of those that need a nuclear reactor to power them. Sony also makes DAPs that don't run hot-warm so no scorching of your hands/family jewels/table top unlike many chifi DAPs

I own a SeeAudio Neko that came with an Effect Audio Cable like this new IEM. It is honestly one of the worst cables I've ever used and I wish I could replace it, but I can't find another cable that will stay in the 2pin connectors.
