FiiO releases Android-based Lossless Portable Music Player M11 Pro!

What about if somebody chime who’s heard the M11 Pro talk about its sound instead of posting about a non M11 Pro device? This is the M11 Pro thread.
I was asked a question and I answered it. Not wanted to derail the thread. Back to M11 Pro, that's right

Hey FiiO, what about a bare-to-the-bone DAP (no Android) for people having their music stored on an external harddisk, just needing the best SQ available, without any fancy features like BT, WiFi, streaming, etc... ? I know, it is not very modern thinking, but the guys/girls are there. Please, think about it, you might make a few people happy and gaining (maybe) some extra good press from another category of listeners. Cheers.

PS: I love my FiiO A5, a masterpiece :)
Why is the fiio A5 a masterpiece?

Why is the fiio A5 a masterpiece?
Because for USD 130.- (approx) you get a very portable and slim amp, low & high gain switch, lots of power, bass boost, very little coloration in sound, a very short 3.5mm adapter, 13hours with one charge (my measurement) and last but not least it eliminates the hiss of the efficient IEMs I used to belong or that I own now (Fearless S8F).
FiiO A5, a masterpiece Indeed.

So the 9.5 hour battery life is from just the 3.5mm or is that for balanced?

Anyone know where you can actually buy an m11 pro, preferably in the USA?

Fiio said it would release this week, but I’ve spend hours trying to find one without success. The tool on fiio’s website (linked from the press release) to find agents is more or less useless. Aliexpress shows it, but gets stuck in the order process picking a color (there is only one option - why ask??). You can’t select it, in their app or website. Such a horrible customer experience. Lastly, the link in the press release for more information is bad; it results in a 404.

I’ve never worked so hard to give someone money.

re Bluetooth, the specs say 5.0 on the pro.

Great! But there is also the Ifi nano idsd and it costs 199 dollars, the price difference is not so much. It also has "iematch" for the most sensitive in ears and eliminate any whistle, not to mention that it has a built-in Dac, I think that ifi nano idsd is more complete than the Fiio A5, for 70 dollars more I think it is worth it . What do you think?

“The M11 Pro will support Bluetooth version 5.0 while staying loyal to most audio codec formats including aptX-HD & LHDC.”

Are you saying BT 5 was dropped prior to production?

Yes... that's why I just bought a Cowon Plenue D2. The Android trend in DAPs has really gotten out of hand. Just give me a dedicated machine that focuses on sound quality and battery life.
