1. Hello everyone. Welcome to our launch event. Tonight we are going to introduce our #Fully Integrated HiFi TWS Earbuds FW5# to you.

In the early 2019 when Bluetooth headphones began to be very popular among consumers, we attempted to develop the FW1 and Bluetooth headphone cables. However, we realized it was harsh to make competitive products. Because there were famous as well as small manufacturers who were involved in the Bluetooth headphone market.

But we never gave up. After long-term research, we found that HiFi headphones must take into account high-definition Bluetooth decoding, excellent sound quality, and a pleasant listening experience. So we made the UTWS series, especially the UTWS5, which redefines the HiFi Bluetooth ear hook. Tonight, the FW5 will redefine HiFi true wireless headphones.

2. We believe that HiFi Bluetooth headphones should have at least three core capabilities, namely stable Bluetooth transmission capability, powerful high-definition Bluetooth decoding capability, and HiFi acoustic configuration.

The FW5 collects FiiO's top-tier acoustic and electronic designs. The fully integrated HiFi architecture contains HD Bluetooth format support + top Bluetooth chip + Professional DAC + Crossover circuit + top acoustic drivers, ensuring easily accessible and stable signal transmission, as well as adequate power output. It supports high-res Bluetooth formats like LHDC/aptX Adaptive, and 96k/24bit sampling rate. What's more, the FW5 supports up to 106dB SNR, lower to 0.0016 THD+N, and 102dB dynamics. You will be surprised by its excellent performance indicators as Bluetooth earbuds.

3. The FW5 employs the high-end Qualcomm QCC5141 for stable and high-performance Bluetooth audio thanks to the chip's dual DSP and dual-core architecture. It also supports TWM (true wireless mirroring) transmission. The Bluetooth 5.2 support and aptX Adaptive allow for an amazing and delightful experience no matter when listening to music, making voice calls, playing games, enjoying movies, etc. In addition, it has the Snapdragon Sound certification which supports up to 96k/24bit.

In addition, it supports LHDC! We have it supported on our previous BTR3 for the first time. It has been quite stable after several years of iteration. Today, many Android phones also support it. It is currently a user-approved encoding technology that is less different from LDAC. In the current situation that LDAC has limited technical progress on TWS, LHDC could be a good alternative.

As for LDAC, we have communicated closely with Qualcomm since the UTWS5. Recently, we have made some progress by testing the complete code, and the audio parameters have met our requirements. It will take more than a month to test the compatibility and stability in detail. Please wait for the OTA in the following days.

4. With such a robust Bluetooth chip, it should be coupled with an independent built-in DAC to achieve stronger decoding capacity. In the FW5 is the AK4332 DAC with excellent performance indicator and an independent headphone amp. To echo with the HiFi circuit, the FW5 even uses an acoustic architecture of 1 dynamic driver and 2 balanced armatures that was commonly used in high-end headphones. In the tiny space of a true wireless earphone, the team managed to fit a large 10mm dynamic driver that handles the low and mid-range frequencies, while higher frequencies are reproduced by 2 Knowles BA drivers. These drivers work together to give powerful yet textured bass while reproducing every last detail in the treble. Different from most TWS earphones, the FW5 relies solely on the quality of the driver unit and the cavity design to debug the frequency response curve.

Each ear unit of the FW5 features 2 microphones that work together with cVc noise cancellation technology for clearer voice calls to make communicating a joy. It comes with 2 specially-designed physical buttons on each side to minimize microphonics during operation.

5. Our structure engineers skillfully used the large cover of the FW5's to attach the FPC antenna to the inner side of the cover, which ensured efficient efficiency conversion and greatly improved the actual coverage of audio signals. At the same time, the faceplate was processed through laser etching + insulating vacuum plating to achieve a textured appearance with excellent antenna performance.

The FW5 comes standard with a set of balanced ear tips as well as 2 alternate sets of vocal ear tips for different sound preferences. The same as other FiiO products, the FW5 can be controlled in the FiiO Control app for many functions.

The FW5 features a battery long enough to easily meet daily usage needs. With its large built-in 60mAh battery, the FW5 can be used for up to 7 hours on a single charge. The 380mAh charging case allows for total battery life of more than 21 hours.

The newly designed earphone charging case is not only small, but also more suitable for great portability with 4 smart and distinctive indicators. Both the charging case and the ear units each feature LED indicator lights to let you quickly know their status.
