It's a wonderful piece. When it was in another rack for my loudspeaker system, it also was feeding my plasma TV. The picture was unbelievable.
https://noctua.atHmm I just touched the upper front. Do I dare stack it with the reference 9 under? Is there some dirt cheap spacers I am trying jenga blocks now but since my cat will love the heat I probably want something more sturdy
Is there a 12v connector or something for a fan inside? I try rearrange it now with nothing on top and some some 3-4 cm extra space under for the reference 9. Hopefully will be okay. Can open a window behind it as well.https://noctua.at
I use a 4x4 on the R8HEMK2 at the REG PSU part.
In the summer you will need a 14x14 probably if you stack it. I did try. That was hot but the fan kept it good luke warm at slow RPM
I use my computer, the power cable is routed out the rear, and here I have a fan controller outside the case and a extension cable, because my R8 1 meter away from the computer. Is there a 12v connector or something for a fan inside? Placebo effect by the bigger case? Easy to fall in the trap of expectations.
Got my master19 today. Shipped with the metal remote thought it was not included? Also got a second internal circuitry for the remote but no casing for it.
No lie it run hot I burn my fingertips if I rest them for more then a few seconds.
Here is how I have mine:
A downside of a forced air circulation is accumulating dust inside. If doubt, open your old PC, will see.I have a USB fan on mine pulling air upward, it dropped the temps drastically. I live in a hot climate. The fan works wonders.
If you were referring to the Master 19 in the picture, that's mine. They actually do serve a sonic purpose and they actually do make an improvement. They're not cheap.Cheapskate feets like that where do you buy them looks dont matter
What do you use for spacers? Ikea is close by so that convenient.https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/aptitlig-butcher-block-bamboo-00233429/
Have three of these(Computer, HE9LE, R8H2). Best investment ever.
Place it on a matt for absorb vibration like this one.
