I'm using the LG G8 with the Meze Rai Penta IEM and the Lotoo Paw S2 using USB audio Pro as the software package. It blows away every DAP I've used (high end ones too many to list here).....

If I was you, I'd just use your phone and a set of used Sony WH-1000XM5. For daily chores, music, and podcasts, I've yet to find a better set. A cheap dap probably isn't going to give you want you want, which sounds like great sound with convenience.
