Had a great time today. Nice to see some familiar faces and meet some new people as well. The time went by so fast but enjoyed everything I had the chance to hear.
My first meet. Amazing gear and people. Can’t wait to do this again next year. Huge thanks to gc335 for organizing this, Schiit for the gear, lunch and zoom call, Zmf, Lithium and Modhouse for the headphones.
Had a great time today, it went a long way to convincing me to get a headphone rig going in addition to the 2-channel setup. I'll have to bring some stuff next year, already looking forward to it!
Only got to maybe a 1/3 of the offerings today, within that:
really liked the Feliks Echo, double mono "Crack' (forgot name), Modhouse Tungsten single sided (which I wish I had time to hear vs Bob's HEK Stealth), ZMF Auteur, Audeze MX-4, and more. There wasn't one bowser. Liked the OG Clear w/ the ZMF pads too. The Lithiums were very promising too.
This was my first one, had a really great time!
HP's: Tungsten was mind blowing. Didn't know what it was when I put it on but immediately knew I heard something special. As always, the other standouts are the usual suspects, Utopia, Clear, and HD 650.
Amps: Feliks echo was mint. Holo Audio Bliss lives up to its name.

It was so great meeting everyone and getting to play with your Schiit! And thank you Schiit for the Lyr raffle that I won! My current setup is humble compared with most of the stuff there so it'll be put to good use.
Just adding a heavy heavy plus to thank @gc335 and all of the organizers for a great meet. Setting this up, organizing, and ensuring all is well is a lot of work. Many, many thanks! And of course, thanks to Schiit as well.
This was my first meet (and this is my first Head-Fi post too, though I have read a-plenty and learned a lot from reading here) and it was thoroughly enjoyable with so many wonderful pieces of gear and great music to boot, but beyond that, some very cool persons sharing their enjoyment of some great rigs!
My only one regret, is so many pieces of gear, so very little time; wish I could have stayed longer! Big kudos to Lithium Headphones for a very Bay State contribution to the fine art and science of headphone-making.
For the great conversations around the Alex Cavalli Liquid Platinum, I have had great results with the more economical PCC189's from Amperex and Mullard, and will further audition ECC189 from Telefunken -- they to my ear compete very well with the E88CCs, and will soon check the E188 and E288's.
Great event today, thanks everyone for all of the amazing stereos you brought to demo. Special thanks to gc335 for arranging this and the folks at Schiit for funding this. Nice to meet everyone and get some great information on the equipment. Looking forward to next year!
