I can pop by tomorrow with my pairSorry if this has been announced previously. Will Mod House Audio demo the Tungsten in Munich 2024? We would like to check out the Tungsten to make sure our amplifier can handle it properly and the Munich show is probably our best bet.
Any idea how the Mimic Audio orders are handled in comparison to the Modhouse direct orders?
I ordered through Mimic on Nov 11 during Dallas CanJam, but not a peep since then.

Yes, the Soul 170HA is safe, but we would like to find out if our lesser amplifiers such as HA-3A and iHA-8 can handle this headphone properly.

That’s strange. You should contact Mimic. They go by a different order number. Mine is #4862, ordered at the end of December. In April I was told I had 20 orders ahead of me.
Current ModHouse is completing their November direct orders but they didn’t say a thing about Mimic Orders for November. I gave up trying to contact ModHouse since they don’t reply. Just email Mimic and have them find out.

@Andykong I can confirm the HA-3A drives the Tungsten's very well even in stock form. I'm currently loaning my friends HA-3A with my SS Tungsten, and have been using it for a little over a month now. With upgraded tubes, I'm sure it's even better. A very good pairing.
From what I read in the iHA-8 thread, it seems like that it will be no different in terms of drivability. Though, I have not heard it myself, and there's very little info or impressions of the new iHA-8 or HA-2A, so I can't say anything with confidence.

it's been so long i often forget that i even ordered one.
I've just put it out of my mind. Whenever they come, they come. It'll probably be June or later for my November order. Whatever, I'm not really that excited for them. I just bought them on a whim cuz of the hype. I have low expectations, but hopefully they'll be exceeded 
Did my rounds with Tungsten on the @Cayin booth in Munich. By far the U-170HA headphone amp was the highlight and my personal highlight of the show overall. It's the best I've heard Tungsten perform yet with crazy dynamics and control - even preferring it slightly over the Mass Kobo 465 - at least from memory. It impressed me so much that it made it on the top of my list of future hifi purchases. Release is planned around August. Just gotta figure out a way where to fit that chonker of an amp in my setup - and save up the dough necessary.
I've also tried the new iHA-8 and HA-2A. The HA-2A drove Tungsten surprisingly well and I preferred it over the iHA-8 in direct comparison by quite a bit.
Cayin's amp designer tried Tungsten on the U-170HA as well and was also very impressed by that combo.

I gave up on waiting for my Modhouse since they never replied to me over a week later when I asked them for an update. Done waiting, got a refund.
