😫 are these standard plugins or all offboard?

Also which color did you get? And do you find the stock case essential?
Fixed Sample Rate and Sound Field plugins are standard ones i believe, same as what i’d used previously with RS6.

I got the blue R8ii, and because I use it on the go most of the time a case is essential for me. I’m not sure if there are any cases other than the stock one, but it works just fine for me.

Sure, but isn't the room filters THE convolution? And if it's 48khz they won't be applied?

So yeah, it has to be a typo or that it's much less of a load if you bring everything to 48khz prior to convolution rather than forcing the convolution plug in to resample at point of contact.

I'm interested in an R8ii so I'll definitely keep an eye out!

If it's at 48kHz on reaching Convolution they *will* be applied

Messed around with those Convolution plugins today with R8ii and my Xe6, and I have to say I'm not a fan. Each one did something really weird to the sound, felt compressed and boxed in, definitely not expanding the stage.

The best result I get with the Plug-ins is to use Fixed Sample Rate at 192k and Sound Field at its default 1.5, and leave DRX10k dynamics and convolution disabled.
Fixed Sample Rate had to be on top set to 48000 for Convolution with one of my filters to work.

Regardless, it's a pretty personal thing.
