PLease how does this compare to the Empire Ears Raven?

@Jwm48324 Pick one or the other. If my memory serves me correctly, the Raven stages similarly to the EVO with less bass and even more detail. The RN6 matches that detail but presents music/stage most openly with the Red module and closes in as you move Black > Silver > Gold while the Empire Ears offerings create a space around you in which sound is projected that's as big or small as the recording while the RN6 is more diffuse. Think of the difference between the two as RN6(red module) = open back iem while the EE flagships = "open sounding closed backs" (with driver flex )

The tonality is superb for both (I'm not sensitive to treble both are considered "spicy" by some; RN6 Silver/Red most spicy, Black/Gold less so), FR graphs aren't very predictive for these units if you're trying to do apples to apples with Harmon stuff. Your real decision is going to be the extra $$$ and can your ears accommodate the large shells of the Raven. The RN6 (the whole Frontier series for that matter) are nicely sized in the universal format, small even, compared to the big boys that are the EVO/Raven. Heck, even the EVO makes the Legend X seem small.

I own the EVO and RN6, have only heard the Raven. I like bass.
