Is this a new system to attach the pin to the yoke? I seem to notice a screw under there. That would fix my first and only gripe with the build of these ZMFs.

The cable are adequate. I’m sure they work as well as any other cable, but Fostex knew better, since they adopted a more versatile connection method with the T60RP. They sound very good, though.

I can also confirm the finicky locking cable on the pair I just received as well. You may lose a channel if the angle of the cable is not just right. And these cables are not soft. They kink.

Maybe so much “stuff” between the drivers and the ears is a great piece of engineering that makes conforming to a specific curve easier or possible…while creating a new kind of curtain for the wizard to hide behind. And maybe so much funneling of sound waves affects the naturalness of the...
