I've tried parallels with my M1 air, doesn't work on . Can't bootcamp because it's apple silicone so parallels is the only option. I've tried windows 7 pcs at internet cafes too, which don't let you run the setup for updating the KA17.

Oof, that's unfortunate. I hope fiio finally makes an effort to improve the experience of their users that are in the apple ecosystem. An app and firmware update support from Mac devices would really help. (As a Mac user whose friends also happen to be Mac users, I have no way to update my ka17)

Lot of things don't work right which the update is supposed to fix. The device is not necessarily functioning as it should on the previous firmware with many users having issues that ruin the experience.

There are instructions written in one of the download files. Only works on newer windows 10 and above I think

For iems I'd still get the ka17 as it's a warmer source and sounds better to me than that ka13's bright leaning signature. For iems I've not had it yet too hot at all and it's totally functional. Peq is nice too but app accessibility is non existent as you only have peq access on the app.

Might need a water cooled ka17 mod 😂😂
