There are definitely some amps where using high gain gets more volts to hungry planars and improves dynamics. Since you are on the Less is More it has some advantages over the OG cards but dynamics isnnt one of them so I'd do exactly what you were suggesting and try high gain on Mjonir.

Thats the thing with any EQ'ing or Pre-amping- at some point why not just get the 2nd Mentor. Thats going to sound better than any EQ and than most pre-amps.

Those are Stealths. The two stickers tell you that it's both Nanometer diaphragms and Stealth Magnets. Best ones pretty much hands down imo.
