Thin and Comfortable with Better Sound Quality! FiiO's Newly-Developed Ear Tip HS18 Is Available Now!
i bought a pack to test as it was on promotion. tinny is the correct word, it makes my bass heavy items sound so mid centric. -

testing the kz az15 Bluetooth module. sounds very thin and lacks texture in bass, lacks note weight and mediocre mids. certainly a treble centric solution. the soundstage though it sounds wide at first it rather sounds artificially enhanced rather than natural. supports only aptx no aptx hd or...- jananan78

the mistake that does over and over again with multi driver hybrids is the lack of proper crossover to channel the frequencies to the correct driver. only at higher driving does all the frivers work at an audible range but at lower driving power some drivers in the multi driver congratulations...- jananan78

i find the moondrop spring tips most comfortable so far soft and not too deep. good enough grip except when it comes to as16 pro that sticks out like an eyesore. stiff cables that retain shape doesn't help either as it wants to uncoil to it's own shape rather than sitting flush. some cables are...- jananan78

there are no major issues with QC but minor issues like with the way they attach things with glue. i am not sure where do you live but in a tropical country the glue sometimes oozes out and things come loose. not much to replace it of course it's just cheap filters i don't mind, just i don't...- jananan78

I'm never buying a kz again with filters that fall out for no reason because no metal mesh. now i believe my left ear has a built-in filter because the filter on the left zex pro is missing and I can't find it anywhere... after some time the glue that they use disintegrates a when you reattach...- jananan78

i beg to differ AS16 Pro sub bass is ample especially with an dongle amp and any single crystal copper cable. and i am using it with treble emphasized tips. it doesn't have the DD dynamic midbass slam but the ample subbass makes up for it. the distance from the sub bass to the mid also...- jananan78

From further testing on AS16 Pro (yes i know it's outdated st KZ's pace) it scales pretty well with better quality sources such as SACDlDSD compared to MP3 or AAC or MQA(FLAC). the resolution is definitely there with high quality sources, not just higher powered source equipment. the instrument...- jananan78

i think because DD moves faster near the center of the coil and slower near the edges hence the slow bass while planar moves at equal speeds for the entire surface.- jananan78

some are metal mesh with a nylon or paper filter inside. the metal grille is very fine that it repels liquid and dirt while not affecting sound. you can also put a very thin layer of cotton wool on it and fixing the eartip on it to prevent further dirt from going into the original mesh but it...- jananan78
