I have been very happy with the AudioQuest NRG-Z3/Z2 Mains Power Cable. Great dynamic and fullbodied sound and better resolution then generic cables. They are a bit stiff and thick though.

Also the power cord that goes from wall to your Powerstation IEC inlet is important.

I folded some soft paper and put underneath the Audio Technica AWAS and this helps to reduce the pain i was feeling from the headband. And it is not to thick to change the sound quality because of changed fit. Very inexpensive solution.

I will try but its easy to fall for more expensive is better thinking admittedly.

But will they sound as good? Or are melco overcharging being known brand. The review would have been more interesting comparing with a less expensive sfp+ cable then.

I don't know if this is of interest to anybody and a good solution using direct sfp? Maybe overpriced and for rich people mostly. Maybe other brands can eventually make more cost friendly options. It seems to have brought nice improvements for the reviewer...

I often think/assume if your Dac is a balanced internal design and you're amp is like the Oor balanced XLR in/out should sound best at least in theory. I have a really great and expensive RCA Cable though imo and don't own a XLR cable and would think i would need to invest in a similar priced...
