I agree with you, V7C sound is very pleasant/warm/musical/romantic but at the same time it has wide scene presentation, great separation and quite enough details, so it does not sound boring. 👌👍I also really like it.

I tried opa1656. Nothing special. Very subtle difference from opa1612. opa1656 sounds a tad warmer.

I will better wait until somebody else try it, or until there come out more detailed reviews about tube rolling in XT-66 😁

Interesting, because I found some comments below on YouTube "Z Reviews" TA-66 video saying that N62 is 6AX7 tube equivalent and can be directly replaced with 12AX7 tube.

Is it possible to directly replace stock tube "6N2 Chinese tube" with "12AX7 Russian tube"? If yes, how much it would gain in sound quality?

I have HD650 and I use it with Xduoo XD05PRO portable dac/amp. I really love the sound from this XD05PRO (have both dac cards with it "ESS9039SPRO and AKM4499EX"). I also tried my friend's OTL amp "Rada Valkyrie" and I can say that I like overall sound signature and tonality better with tube amp...

Please share which op-amp you will like the most when you get V7C (especially in comparison to SS2590) 😊 my favourite opamp at the moment is V7C because of its unbeatable musicality 😊

If you want to use SS2590 in XD05PRO you will need two Sparkos dual adapters and 4 pieces of Sparkos SS2590 single opamps. Then you will have to solder these adapters with single opamps (one adapter + 2 single opamps) to get two dual sparkos SS2590. Or much more easier way without soldering is...
