I'm curious as to how a Carbon mates better with the 009s better than a BHSE or KBSSHV. What's the word on the street?

So beefing up the power supply makes sense to me. But I'm a little confused here as to your variation-twist to the Spritzer mod. Come again as to why the additional resistors are needed? Can you post a photo of what this looks like?

Its funny, I had read numerous mentions about the mod, but I was entirely left with the impression it was about increasing voltage swing.    Thank-you gentlemen, that clarifies things.

Are you sure this is not going to cause a big suckout at 3.3K Hz rather than 8K Hz?

I can't understand how people can say the 240DF is "more detailed" than the 240M, when as mentioned, they are essentially the same driver just tweaked for diffuse equalization. The DF indeed has a flatter response, which resulted me in not liking them initially. But then my ears got attuned...

Sounding fine and sounding great are two different things. I used to own a pair, and they tended to sound best via integrated amps (that tend to drive their headphone jack via the speaker output) believe it or not. They need that extra power to make them sound alive and dynamic IMO...

I think this is all well and good. As Robert De Niro says in his movies (he even parodies himself sometimes): It is what it is. It is. The EMP and EMS are clearly fine amps by what people have said about them, which is why I wanted one. But ... my K340s are hard to drive. I know this...
