The discovery thread!
Been some days with the Hype 4 and listening to it a lot. This thing is legit. The only thing is the name is a bit silly, but other than that, this IEM sounds really really nice. For about $500 you can get the Hype 4 and the Qudelix 5K, and get some really really high end sound. That's just a...- PixelSquish

This time my Voltage actually really shipped! Excited for these and really hoping to step away from the scene for a bit if it scratches the need I'm looking for now.- PixelSquish

Hype 4 pair very well with the DC-Elite, and also with the Qudelix 5k with a bit of a bass bump. Also out of the Go Blu. Will try the RU7 shortly. I can see why some might be bothered by the treble but we all have our own ears. The Pilgrim treble bothered me, but I like the Hype 4 treble. If it...- PixelSquish

Maybe it's that 7-8khz spike that got me with the Pilgrim. I should have waited for the noir.- PixelSquish

I've been needing to send my Volür in for a few months, as on one side the screen got unglued. I have it jammed in there good, but they need a proper servicing. In the last few months I got the Quattro, Pilgrim, and now the Hype 4. With the Quattro I was like maybe I could survive with this...- PixelSquish

I'm a loud volume listener and the Hype 4 work with that very well, as that is where they shine. I had loved the Pilgrim at CanJam but when I heard of the Noir, slightly warmer with more present mids, and slightly dialed back treble, I was going to wait for that. But my impatience to wait for...- PixelSquish

Got the Hype4 today. I put them on for about 30 minutes, then went on a long dog walk with them. Then kept listening to them when I got home. Longer than I have listened to a couple other recent purchases on their first go. Instead of trying to hype these up in my head like I have a few recent...- PixelSquish

Like new Aviot TE-ZX1-PNK in the black colorway with all packaging. Multi-driver TWS, made in Japan quality. Just a little less bass than I need for my beat heavy playlists so wasn't enough to unseat my current TWS, so moving on as I'm not made of money. Shipping from NYC metro area in NJ...- PixelSquish

Like new Elysian Pilgrim with all original packaging. I was planning to wait for the Noir but got trigger happy. Lovely IEM as many have said, but just a tad bright sometimes to be all rounders for my ears, so moving on. Shipping from the NYC metro area in NJ. Shipping via USPS to CONUS only...- PixelSquish

after doing more reading, went with the Hype 4 over the DaVinci. I do love my bass but the Hype 4 sounded like it had a better bass shelf, as in, not as much bass as the DaVinci.- PixelSquish

Would really love a somewhat detailed comparison of the DaVinci and the Hype 4. Wanting to pull the trigger on one or the other since I'm listing my Pilgrim soon. any lovely people who have heard both of those?- PixelSquish

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
MTW4 bass is more up my alley. More impact and rumble. I prefer the MTW4 for that reason. Bass is one of the more important things I need SQ wise. The Aviots sound really good that I can still really get into the music, which is saying something. but ultimately for my specific music collection...- PixelSquish

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
The PNK have a nice refined sound. But for my tastes in music they are definitely a bit short in the bass impact and rumble department. A chunk of people would be fine with the Aviot bass depending on their music catalogue and personal tastes. I listen to a lot of beat driven music so that is...- PixelSquish

Got the Aviots today. The bass is definitely underwhelming at first, but I did boost the three lowest frequencies with the EQ and it's overall a nice sound. Still gotta do a lot more listening but it is missing a touch of rumble even with that for my personal tastes. Wavelet and a 1.2db bass...- PixelSquish
