Agreed. I find the sound of the original ofc Japan wire cable to be more than satisfactory, and solid upgrade over the stock one. The stiffness though was borderline unbearable. The new ones are excellent and much better in that regard, I do not experience any of it turning and wrapping itself...

I Zach was gracious enough to let me check out the pro cables when I stopped in a while back and sent home with me both to sample. I can attest that they look great, sound great, and way more flexible and user friendly than the OFC cable.

Not sure the name but I believe my mesh is stock and it’s visually perforated. No issues with treble hotness in my setup, of which I’m definitely very sensitive too. Vinyl rig doesn’t hurt either lol.

I’ve asked this before, but with the universe pads, you think there’s enough difference between Lambskin and the hybrid lamb/suede to constitute getting both of them? My atriums had the caldera UP which are great but I recently switched to universe hybrid to check out a different flavor.

I am a caldera ultra perf user myself and am not rushing to change any time soon, but the stock pads are the universe perforated ones (NOT the solid ones), correct? I purchased mine with the caldera pads stock
