What would be natural upgrade from HD800?
HD800S needs OTL amp. Not solid state amp. HD800S bass impedance is around 600 ohm btw. Far higher than 300 ohm impedance in 1khz.- Skeith

Hi @Joe Bloggs, can you explain why plugin order have different sound ? I try to change plugin order and it's sounds different. Convolution at bottom sounds better than Convolution at top. You can measure control with CSD plot. Waterfall or C.S.D. Clearly he said HD800S have better clarity and control which mean it's OBJECTIVELY a better headphone. If you like more bass, more fun than HD800S and more forward and intimate sounding headphone Composer is better. But that's SUBJECTIVE depend on listener taste.- Skeith
