Maybe give the Trailli a go for vocals. Best vocals IMO (do I even need to add an IMO here? :dt880smile:)

Though these ADV tips didn't work sound wise for the IEM pairing I was trying them with, they were extremely comfortable to wear because of the shape. Hope companies keep working on these shape of tips. Also super nice support over at ADV.

In the midst of high-end cable conversations, a shout out to the Campfire Trifecta stock cable! Loving that it's thin, has zero microphonics, and it's curve and form around my ear is just perfect. Pretty certain SQ improvements will come with cable rolling but the sound with stock is pretty good...

The Brise Audio Japan Cable Thread

What a nonsensical comment. Please don't generalize people based of countries like this. And yes, Brise cables are excellent in their performance. In my experience easily beating out PWA and EA in each price bracket.

Asuha will bring up the low end tastefully but won't push highs forward. In fact it would pull the high back a little bit without losing detail. IMO it'll serve what you're looking for.

I'm pretty sure I'd never prefer a $300 IEM with a $2700 cable over a $3000 IEM with stock cable. The way I see it is that cables are a medium for speaker's sound to reach your ear, and this can reach neutrally or with some sound frequencies tamed. But it can't add to the technical aspects of...

Do they have anything in the higher end? Wouldn't want to compromise on SQ at all :)

Actually they sound different and fit slightly different too. I much preferred the Mk3. What IEM cable is that? I dig thin cables! Epro tips are nice but I must say they added some odd tuning to the midrange in all the IEMs I tried them with.

My collection is so much more black than gold but I did unbox some gold today! Now to dive in and decide what I feel about the sound!

Ie900 has a lot of fakes. Don't risk it on eBay

I'm completely aligned with your analyses of the Volur and Z1r, therefore I can take your word on the ie900 too :) I'll just add for the Volur that I haven't heard any set have a dynamic, variable bass soundstage like it is able to provide. Really unique in my experience.

I don't believe this is available anywhere yet and so no one can provide such definitive opinions and comparisons as of now.
