Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

I’ve just recently got an M0 Pro after being a very happy original M0 user for the last six years. My M0 Pro has broken in and is sounding fantastic with a pair of NiceHCK F1 Pro planar magnetics that I’m using with Final Audio black type E ear tips that balance the treble nicely. It has...

    Audeze SINE Series

I’ve got a pair of Vesper Audio pads and I think they sound better than the originals, and are more comfortable. I ordered the default version that is closest to the originals, but they will make up a custom order if you want over ear instead of on ear or different materials etc. They accept...

Plug headphones into iFi audio GO link for supercharged sound!

Thanks, but I’m very happy with my Go Link as it is and so it is only a ‘nice to have’ to be able to update the firmware and not important enough to need to raise a ticket about it. I assume that the firmware update is perhaps a feature of the software development kit that the iFi engineers use...

Plug headphones into iFi audio GO link for supercharged sound!

I don’t have a Windows computer and I am disappointed I still can’t upgrade the Go Link firmware with my Mac, and I will be stuck with whatever my Go Link came with. I had no such problem with my iFi Nano iDSD or Micro iDSD Black Label and they could be upgraded with a Mac.

    Audeze SINE Series

I contacted Vesper Audio about Sine replacement cables and they replied with a list of 10 different kinds of cable. I opted for the second most expensive one which was $220 including shipping - it was one of the ones they had in their photo gallery. I’ve had about 50 hours on the cable now and...

    Primaluna Evo 100, 200, 300, 400

If there were only two output tubes, the amp wouldn’t be able to run in push pull mode, it would need to be single ended. I use my Evo 100 as a speaker amp as well as a headphone amp, and to me the big feature is that it does both jobs really well.

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

I use UAPP to play Qobuz tracks and I think it has integration with other HiRes services like Tidal, but I haven’t heard about Amazon Music working with audiophile apps.

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

If you have an Android phone by default everything is resampled to 48 khz. You need an audiophile app like Universal Audio Player Pro which has its own USB drivers to work round that.

    Audeze SINE Series

No, I only know about the Meze ones without right angled 2.5 mm jacks, and the Vesper Audio ones. I would be interested in any other makes of compatible cables, as I don’t think the stock ones that came with my Sines are going to last much longer.

    Audeze SINE Series

Ah I see you gave the price of $124 for them - thanks for that. The other cables from Meze that people here showed pictures here of don’t have the right angled 2.5 mm jacks and didn’t look very mechanically sound to me.

    Audeze SINE Series

I really happy with my new on ear Vesper Audio replacement ear pads for my Audeze Sines. I’ve been using the Sines with my APPJ PA 1502A tube amp and I think they are a perfect combination. See picture over on the APPJ thread...

Any opinions / reviews on Gemtune APPJ PA1502A

Recently I've been using my PA 1502A to drive Grado SR80x's and that was a really fun combination. But I just got some new earpads for my Audeze Sines from vesperaudio. With the APPJ I think this is my favourite combination so far. I'm using an iFi iDSD Micro Black Label as a DAC instead of...

iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.

This thread is about sharing experiences of using iFi’s noise filtering device for Ethernet LAN connections. There is an entirely separate discussion about whether it could possibly work at all by people who haven’t tried it, that belongs somewhere else in my opinion.
