Resolved: Classifieds search is broken in multiple ways
Search for "topping" (also took screenshot below) Search for "Topping" (also took screenshot below) Why are there almost completely different results due to one character being uppercase? Also, some results, like this one, doesn't even have the word "topping" or "top" anywhere in the listing...- nothing4me

HIFIMAN HE400i 2020 Version
I can't compare since I don't have a headphone with the old style laying around. It is comfy though. Nah, the 400i physically cannot produce anything "audible" under 20hz. Besides the specs saying that, I tested it out myself with https://www.szynalski.com/tone-generator/ . Try and bring it...- nothing4me

HIFIMAN HE400i 2020 Version
I got them and tried them out. Sounds pretty much the same as 400i, but the build quality seems way better. It doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart in my hands. The new headband is softer than I expected so that's nice. For music with bass that goes below 20hz, the 400i left me wanting...- nothing4me

HIFIMAN HE400i 2020 Version
Should be the exact same thing as the older 400i. It says on their product website that they use the same exact drivers.- nothing4me

HIFIMAN HE400i 2020 Version
Thanks. I ordered a pair. I'll try them out and do a small write up in this thread over the weekend. Regardless, I think they're gonna love the gift since it's going to sound miles better than anything they've tried in their life lol :)- nothing4me

HIFIMAN HE400i 2020 Version
Looks like they changed the headband and that's about it. Was thinking about getting one as a present for someone. Anyone get a chance to try it out? https://hifiman.com/products/detail/304- nothing4me

Sound Card Vs. External DAC
FYI, if you don't handle capacitors correctly... they can and will kill you (especially power supply capacitors via discharge). So, don't do it if you have zero experience with modifying and building electronics. If you are going to do it anyway... google around on how to do it safely.- nothing4me

Is it possible to use your android phone as a DAC for your computer?
Android 5.0 finally got USB Audio support. However, I can't figure out how to make it work with a computer at the moment. Maybe someone has a solution? In the meanwhile, I found this solution and it works great: http://georgielabs.net/ There is latency, but I use it mostly for music so I...- nothing4me
