It's hard to say how good it is since there is no mention of construction, litz type, number of strands and awg.

I wouldn't unless you really, really want bass. They are crying for an OCC silver cable, except they cost as much as the headphones or more.

With proper ID3 tags it's easy to find anything.

A properly built cable with OCC silver (which the AXIOS doesn't use) actually smooths out the highs, widens the soundstage and extends the low end.

Have you tried replacing the files that you are having issues with? You could have introduced errors when copying them.

Are you using the Chimera cable management clip? If you are, try without the clip as it should open the soundstage even more.

I can highly recommend the DHC Prion4 OCC Silver cable or if you are looking for something lower cost the Complement C. I haven't had a chance to hear it but the Complement C15 which uses 2 Complement C wires for each channel. Why OCC? OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) casting avoids contaminants...

I have the LCD-X and with a OCC copper cable (DHC Complement C). I feel it makes a great complement.

The 1Z has a deeper better defined low end, and a smoother wider soundstage.

The 1.5TB is only available as an Ultra. The only difference between Ultra and Extreme is write speed which is only an issue when first copying music on to it.
