You are right. The guy in Japan I bought it from has a 100% positive feedback. I canceled a couple of orders from sellers in Japan because of lack of communication. Don’t mind the wait time it’s the lack of communication that I can’t stand.

I got my 700 from a seller in Japan via Ebay US a few weeks ago. Plenty of sellers to pick from. Free of import taxes. Definitely worth it.

I bought the XM5 when they came out a few months ago and returned them promply...Couldn't deal witht the Sony app and they felt very uncomfortable on my head.

If you need closed one for outdoors why not go ANC? I got the new Bose Quiet ultra (on sale on AmZ) and they’re great. You could also get the Apple Airpod Max, also on sale on Amz. Both are less than $500
