HM1 isn't a headphone. I'd still like to have a listen through it though. Aperio is intriguing, but out of my reach.

I don't know anything about TTs - black magic to me. I want to listen to a well set up TT to guage how it compares to digital for myself.

I don't agree with the notion that something should be stupidly expensive just because people have money. There is insane price gouging in our hobby and it's getting worse. That's what I object to.

Fair comment. Or almost fair. I'll spend it if I need to, but I hate that it's so expensive. TOTL just seems to be getting ever more costly, and I am far from poor. Not sure if that better clarifies my position, but there you go. I value your opinion, thanks for taking the time.

I am not sure I get the 'price conscious' comment. There's nothing price conscious about LTA. My MZ3 was almost £4K imported into the UK and that's their entry level HPA. THE Z10E is around £8K imported.
