Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...

I think it's a great little DAC that does a fantastic job for the price. I was able to get mine for under 200 used. I havent experienced the so called "warmup" time others have spoken about with it. I looked at the Bifrost, but couldn't justify the price for now. Unfortunately I never had...

    Denon AH-D7000

I was able to repair the cup to headband assembly with the Fostex TH900 shaft and screw and now it looks just like the OEM Denon assembly! They don't fit correct initially so it requires cutting and sanding down the TH900 shaft and then widening the slot on the headband, but it is absolutely...

Budget Amp and DAC for HD800S and D7000

The HD800(S) can be picky and I don't see a lot of people recommending the 11.28 for it which is making me apprehensive. I spoke with a few people and read some forums and it seems some initial setups that pair well with the HD800(S) are Schiit stacks. Super affordable is the Modi Multibit +...

Budget Amp and DAC for HD800S and D7000

May I ask what you like about it? Have you used it before with an HD800S or HD800 before? I researched it a little bit and it does seem a bit warmer than most solid states and it would be nice to add a tube amplifier to the DAC output later on. Hoping to find something that could hold the line...

Budget Amp and DAC for HD800S and D7000

TLDR: Looking for a sub $500-600 Hybrid Amp and DAC to warm up my HD800S but can also be used on my low impedance Denon D7000. Used is fine if that is needed to keep it under budget. I was originally selling my D7000 to go for the HD800S and a more expensive DAC/amp setup for it, but was...

    Denon AH-D7000

I was able to use a 4-40 flat head machine screw, washers, and an acorn nut to reconnect the headband to the ear cup. Actually probably sturdier and longer lasting than the stock connection and looks really nice.

    Denon AH-D7000

This is a different shaft than the cap for the D2000, D5000, and D7000, but could potentially work if they have the screw for it. Do we know exactly what is needed for the Fostex headband to ear assembly like we do with the exploded view of the AHDs? It might be worth to buy the whole screw...

    Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

Other than the internal audio electronics and earcup materials (wood vs plastic), yes I believe so. I know 100% that the headband and earcup to headband parts are all interchangeable as I spoke with Denon service about it.

    Denon AH-D7000

Does anyone have a spare Biss2 (7-3) and Screw (7-4) to connect the headband to the earcup? I would greatly appreciate any info as it seems Denon is out of those specific parts. Thank you!

    Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

Anyone have a spare 7-3 BISS2 and 7-4 Screw that holds the earcup to the headband? Or know where to find them? Unfortunately Denon no longer carries those parts and the screw just stripped on mine :frowning2:. If not, anyone wanting to purchase a Denon AH-D7000 off of me? They are my favorite...

HOW TO REPAIR YOUR DENON D-2000, D-5000, and D-7000 HEADPHONES - If Your Cup Has Fallen Off The Gimbal

Anyone have a spare 7-3 BISS2 and 7-4 Screw or know where to find them? Looks like there hasn't been an update in a while. I didn't know this was an issue with them until it just now happened to me :(. If not, anyone wanting to purchase a Denon AH-D7000 off of me. They are my favorite pair...

Best Amp to go with Apogee Duet and Denon D7000/Ultrasone Pro 750? (<$500)

I'm looking for a great amp to finish my audio setup.  I have an apogee duet and am now looking to add a dedicated headphone amp to it.  I was wondering what some suggestions are.  Here's all the information you may need.  Let me know if there is anything else.  Thanks in advance for any help...
