I do not have a big issue with DSD64. With DSD256 it does drain the battery faster. You may need a power bank and an iBasso cable to feed the DAC from the power bank.

Did you try setting up DSD64 in the menu? Consumptions is much lower this way

I am sure from a technical point of view it is better. Whether it sounds "better" is very very subjective.
