***5/8/24 Update***: The WM1AM2 is sold.


I have a Sony NW-WM1AM2 Walkman (used, in 'very good' condition) for sale. This Walkman is the US model, and power output is the same as the Japan model of WM1AM2 (250mW in high gain from 4.4 balanced, and 60mW in high gain from 3.5 unbalanced).

I am the original owner, and the Sony WM1AM2 was purchased new online from Crutchfield (authorized Sony retailer), as of September 2023.

In terms of use, a total of 14 hours of listening has been done on this Walkman (and only from 4.4 balanced). All listening has been done indoors at home only, and it has been regularly cleaned and stored in a shaded storage area after every use. Roughly half of total listening on the Walkman was done in USB DAC mode through USB type C port (with an aftermarket USB type C cable).

As for its condition, there are no noticeable marks, no dents and no discoloration on the screen, front bezel/frame, sides nor on the back side panel. The buttons show some light marks (when seen from close-up view in moderate light) from regular use and wear, but there are no significant signs of heavy wear nor damage in any way. Another thing to mention is there is a slightly noticeable thin mark that goes across the top quarter portion of the power button. This thin mark is more visible when seen more up close under moderate bright lighting.

The Walkman functions and performs (from local music playback on the Walkman app to streaming music apps) in excellent condition without any issues.

All original packaging and accessories (stock USB type C cable, stock dust plugs for all ports, original product guide and warranty, original shipping box & original packaging) and copies of invoice are included. Also, a Benks black tpu case (lightly used) and an orange leather case (of a generic brand - lightly used) are included as well.
