Excellent headphones Pioneer SE Monitor 5. My FAVOURITE phones for quite long time - before buying ESR10.. Pioneer has excellent biocellulose driver combining high resolution with natural and smooth presentation (that I could find only with biocellulose). They are dynamic, punchy, with bass hitting hard going very low. Soundstage is very good for closed-back with great positioning. Not extremely big but also not small at all (bigger than D7200 for example). SEM5 fly really high with good tube amp.

I was using them mostly with Dekoni Sheepskin TH900 pads - better sound for my preference. So original pads almost like new.

I like them more than Denons D7200/D9200, Fostex TH610 and even TH910 or Beyerdynamic T5/T1.

Perfect condition except headband (check photos). It started to peel off - typical issue for pleather. So I removed this pleather and there is just grey material left for lower part of the headband (last 3 photos). The top part is still good so I am leaving it. It looks good in my opinion and there is no worry for new buyer what to do with this issue. However still I recommend to buy some headband cover to protect the material against dirt.
