Sadly, I'm having to part with my AB-1266 Phi TC + 10' JPS Superconductor Cable + Room's custom stand for the AB-1266 + Moon Audio Silver Dragon XLR to speaker taps adapter for driving the AB-1266 out of a speaker power amplifier.
I bought the AB-1266 Phi TC in 2021 and the 10' JPS Superconductor Cable shortly afterwards direct from JPS/Abyss and am the original owner. I got caught up in the audiophile hobby during the pandemic but have since shifted my passion to outdoor activities like running and hiking. It's been well over a year since I even used the AB-1266 Phi TC and I've come to think that it needs a new home with someone who can fully appreciate and enjoy this awesome headphone.
I've owned many great headphones but the AB-1266 Phi TC stood out above the rest and I thought I'd hold onto it even if I'm no longer the audiophile geek I used to be for a while. The headphone has been treated like a baby in my smoke-free and pet-free home office and is in mint condition.
The JPS Superconductor cable really smoothens out the sound of the AB-1266 Phi TC, adding body to the midrange for a fuller and richer sound than with the stock original cable. After getting the Superconductor cable, I sold the original cable so I do not have it. I also ordered the 10' length to have the extra length and be able to move around a bit and not be stuck right next to the amp the headphone is connected to.
Also included is the Room's stand which is a pricey item of its own, but which is almost necessary to properly store and display the AB-1266 Phi TC. Another item that is included is the Moon Audio Silver Dragon XLR-to-speaker-taps adapter for the option of driving the AB-1266 Phi TC with a speaker power amplifier. Arguably, this may be the best option for getting the most out of the AB-1266 Phi TC, but this method isn't for everyone.
My asking price is 4,500USD + 4% Paypal fees, shipping in USA with FedEx Express Standard Overnight delivery is included.
